Vacation in Ruidoso, New Mexico

Ruidoso, New Mexico is located in the southern part of the state, about 120 miles north of El Paso, Texas. Ruidoso is a town of about 8,000 people, capable of 30,000 in highlighting our winter ski and summer to grow for horse racing. When the snow flies thousands head for the slopes Apache, owned and operated by the Mescalero Apache Nation. In summer, attention turns to the Ruidoso Downs Race Track, home ofrichest quarter horse events in the world!

You can ski or ride horses, you might want to stay in Ruidoso during our "off season" to be considered. There are some excellent values from the last week of March to mid-May or last week of September until Thanksgiving. Area residents have special offers in this period and area of Ruidoso low-cost housing. Local restaurants, galleries and attractions are less crowded and you can enjoy the fun"Cool Mountain" in the area.

The famous Wild West outlaw Billy the Kid hung in Lincoln County and there are many museums and shows representation of time. Smokey Bear Park in Capitan is perfect for young and old. Smokey is very exciting final resting place for the park grounds. Did you know that the old Smokey is the only celebrity with his zip code of the United States? Many staff members answer thousands of letters every year, as the message of Wildfire Safetycontinues.

Ruidoso is truly a community of artists. Almost everyone, I'm the man at the store, your waitress or the people next door coming artists. Ruidoso lives with tunnels with all the possible forms of expression. At least, plan on a rather unique carved bears ... Ruidoso signature!

Three casinos to add the element of luck throughout the year. The Billy the Kid Casino and two Mescalero Apache casinos offer many opportunities to tryTheir luck in search of the elusive "jackpot."

One of the alternatives cheap accommodation in the area for rent. Private owners have made their homes, condos and homes on the rental market, can not fill. The units offer accommodation services non-commercial ... private hot tubs and pool only begin to scratch the surface. Due to the fluctuation of accommodation that may be a bookand economically attractive alternative for your stay. The key to staying in Ruidoso is .... Book early! It's never too early to plan your trip.

Ruidoso has a variety of lodging accommodations. The big chains are here ... Motel 6, Hawthorn Suites, Comfort Inn and many others. After traveling for more than a few times to work, I've seen enough of the chains have the formula. E 'clean, comfortable and predictable, but then again this is what they want! For my money, locally owned and operatedHotels, guesthouses and lodges add charm and intrigue to your stay. No two are identical and each has its own type of services and the environment. Meet some of the best Ruidoso!

The inn is run that it is precisely the right chef and a multitude of men I ever met Hal. Breakfast is the event as well as other facilities, including a room with hot tub make the house of one of the most rewarding Cocinera "finds."

The Sitzmark Chalet is a touch of oldWorld Europe in the heart of the mountains of New Mexico. Your hosts are Todd and Lori, a small but extremely comfortable hotel. Near the heart of Ruidoso on Sudderth Drive the Sitzmark is reasonable room, Jacuzzi and picnic spot prices. Stop and say hello! Todd and Lori is a generous dose of hospitality area.
